The Foothills Trail is a 76.2-mile trail and is located in Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina. The trail offers adventures of every length and difficulty. Which makes this trail is perfect if you’re looking for a day hike or planning a thru-hike.  Thru-hikers should plan to spend approximately 5-10 days on the trail. Weekend backpackers and day-hikers can utilize numerous trailheads for shorter trips. The trail offers a superior hiking experience. Because of that Backpacker magazine rated it as “one of the best long trails in the country”. The trail provides access to some spectacular waterfalls for sightseers and photographers. By all means check out our interactive trail map today!
